01 The Banyan 911 · Stuttgart, Germany
A ground-up restoration of the air-cooled 911, executed in Stuttgart with historical discipline, structural precision, and no unnecessary reinterpretation.
Restoration philosophy
The most valuable 911s are not overbuilt. They are understood, structurally renewed, and restored around the engineering decisions that made the original car enduring.
Banyan returns each commission to a coherent OEM standard, from chassis geometry and corrosion protection to mechanical systems, interior materials, and final road validation.

03 Beneath the surface
Every body is fully disassembled, stripped to bare metal, structurally corrected, and KTL dip-coated to OEM standards. The process protects seams and internal cavities that conventional restoration cannot reach.
Chemical stripping, dimensional inspection, corrosion remediation, and structural metalwork.
Cathodic KTL coating across exposed panels, seams, cavities, and internal surfaces.
Air-cooled model programs
From early short-wheelbase character to the precision and presence of the 930, each program begins with the right foundation and a clearly defined historical specification.

Inside the commission
Body, drivetrain, cabin, and every finishing detail are brought together in Stuttgart—one documented stage at a time. This 930 shows the Banyan standard while the work is still visible.

The Banyan standard
Every visible surface is supported by structural, mechanical, and material decisions resolved to the same exacting standard.

Each body is chemically stripped, corrected, and KTL dip-coated to OEM standards so seams, cavities, and internal surfaces are protected before refinishing begins.

Factory architecture, era-appropriate materials, and precise fit guide every cabin. Hides, stitching, trim, and controls are resolved as one coherent specification.

Historically significant cars are approached with restraint. Original mounting points, factory geometry, and period-correct details remain central to the finished commission.
